Call for Yaddo Art Residency

Call for Yadoo Art Residency APPLICATION DEADLINES January 1 , for residencies starting May 1 of the same year, through February of the following year.  August 1 , for residencies starting late October of the same year through May of the following year.  The application portal at  www.yaddo.slideroom.com  is now open for the January 1, 2013 deadline. Artists are eligible to apply once each calendar year – either January 1 or August 1, but not both. Late applications will not be accepted. Yaddo is no longer accepting paper applications. Artists working in all genres should go to  www.yaddo.slideroom.com  for specific instructions on completing an application for residency. NOTIFICATION OF RESULTS Notification of results will be sent by postal mail March 15 and October 1. No information about results will be released before these dates. Videorover: Season 5 Once again, NURTUREart’s Videorover is seeking video submissions for the fifth installment – to open in December 2012. VIDEOROVER aims at becoming an ever-expanding forum for new and emerging video artists.  The subject/content of the work is open, and videos will be favored that are less than 20 minutes in length, unless they are intended to loop continuously. In keeping with NURTUREart’s mission to show new and emerging artists, only video work that has been completed within the past five years is eligible for this exhibition.
