ASHIMA 2014 BEPPU ARTIST IN RESIDENCE On the theme “FANTASTIC, MAGIC, WONDERFUL BEPPU!”,  we are inviting artists to create large-scale outdoor artworks on the walls of Beppu.  Beppu, located on Kyushu Island in Japan, is a curious city and possesses many facets. Beppu is the second largest thermal city in the world. The city once knew a glamorous time and knew great fame with crowed shopping streets, animated life in bars, restaurants, hundreds of movie theaters, and a large flux of visitors disembarking from the ferry. Nowadays, the city has changed but still offers vibrant memories. Coming to Beppu is like taking part to a treasure hunt to find hidden gems and encounter numerous mysteries. Open call for Kalasakshi Memorial Trust SCHOLARSHIPS

Kala Sakshi Memorial Trust announces Five prestigious scholarships for talented young art students. This scholarship is a platform for the identification of new talent in art and its aim is to provide the final awardees with an opportunity to experiment and showcase their art. For 2014-15, scholarships will be awarded to Five outstanding young art students. The scholarship includes an award of Rs 25,000 to each recipient, the opportunity to be mentored by senior persons in the artist community as well as to establish linkages with people in the field, and support in organizing exhibitions of their works at a future date. Henry Moore Foundation Post-doctoral Research Fellowships 2015-16

The Henry Moore Foundation's Grants Programme supports a small number of two-year Post-doctoral Research Fellowships in the field of sculpture studies. Managed by the Henry Moore Institute, the Fellowships assist scholars who have recently completed doctoral studies to prepare a substantial publication or similar research output. The Foundation awards a grant of up to £21,000 per annum towards the fellowship. Applicants must have an affiliation with a British university department, who will act as the host to the Fellow from January 2015. Fellows will be expected to present the development of their work quarterly to the Henry Moore Institute. Fellowships run for two years; however if the Fellow does not fulfil his/her obligations to the University in the first year, the second year's funding could, at The Foundation's discretion, be revoked.
