UNESCO-ASCHBERG BURSARIES FOR ARTISTS PROGRAMME 2014 The UNESCO-Aschberg Bursaries for Artists Programme ,   www.unesco.org/culture/aschberg , provides emerging artists in various disciplines with bursaries to international art residency programs. The bursaries are restricted to certain disciplines and geographic regions, with requirements varying from residency to residency.   Three bursaries to the Instituto Sacatar are awarded annually through the UNESCO-Aschberg Bursaries for Artists Programme, in   creative writing ,   visual arts   and   music composition . General Conditions Objective The objective of awarding scholarships to young and budding artists is mainly to provide them a work space to improve their skills/innovative ideas in their respective fi eld of visual arts. Selection The selection for award of Scholarships will be made by a Jury comprising of senior artists. The photographs of exhibits or published article will be the main basis, but not the only basis for selection.
