Sacatar Deadline – 15 April 2015 A REMINDER:  Artists of all nationalities, disciplines and ages may apply for Sacatar Fellowships, which provide airfare, studio, room, board and local logistical support for eight-week residency sessions at our beachside estate on the island of Itaparica in Bahia, Brazil.  Full details at  www.sacatar.org . The Foundation for Indian Contemporary Art invites applications for the Ila Dalmia FICA Research Grant 2015. The Ila Dalmia FICA Research Grant, instituted by the Foundation for Indian Contemporary Art, with the support of art historian Yashodhara Dalmia, aims to encourage research in the field of Indian modern and contemporary art. The grant amount of Rs 2 Lakh will support the research project for one year. The application is open to individuals who are committed to researching in the field of visual arts with particular focus on Indian modern and contemporary art. CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: PEERS 2015 The PEERS Residency, a four-week residency programme at Khoj Studios, New Delhi provides masters students a unique platform for dialogue, experimentation and exchange. In its 12th year, the Khoj PEERS programme continues to provide a forum for interaction, creating a network of young artists from various art, architecture, media and design colleges. Khoj is inviting applications for PEERS 2015 from final year MFA students and /or young artists with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field to push and experiment with the interdisciplinarity of contemporary art. ARTIST SELECTION PROCESS FOR SACATAR RESIDENCY FELLOWSHIPS: We are now accepting applications for two-month Fellowships to the  Instituto Sacatar in Bahia, Brazil. Fellowships include reimbursement of  airfare to Salvador, Brazil; room with private bath; separate studio  appropriate to the artist’s discipline; meals and logistic support during  the residency.  Individuals of all nationalities, working in all disciplines and of any age, may apply.   Applications must be submitted  electronically.
