    The Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture’s Public Art Program seeks an artist to join the design team responsible for the design of a new transit center. The selected artist will be asked to consider unique ways to provide functional integrated elements for passengers and to advise the team on other potential areas for artistic treatment. Art opportunities include, but are not limited to: vertical shade features, shelters and seating, walkways, and landscape enhancements.  The estimated budget is $250,000, inclusive of all design and construction, travel, insurance, taxes, and incidentals. This call is open to Indian citizens who are 35 years of age or less and have been residing in India for the past two years. The residency will take place between 1 May and 31 July 2014 . The residency includes participation in ISCP, stipend, living costs and travel expenses. The objective of the 55th National Exhibition of Art, 2013-2014 is to present works of art of excellence both in terms of material application and aesthetic appeal. The exhibition will cover a broad range of art works of all mediums like painting, sculpture, graphic, photo-graph, drawing, installation and multi-media.
