SCHEME FOR THE AWARD OF FELLOWSHIPS
TO OUTSTANDING PERSONS IN THE FIELD OF CULTURE

         Ministry of Culture operates the Scheme for the Award of Senior/Junior Fellowships for undertaking research oriented projects in the fields of Performing, Literary and Plastic Arts as also New Areas related to Culture. Under the Scheme, 400 Fellowships (200 Senior Fellowships of the value of Rs. 20,000/- per month and 200 Junior Fellowships of the value of Rs. 10,000/- per month) are awarded every year.
     Applications are invited from eligible persons for the award of Senior/Junior Fellowships for the year 2012-13. Details of the Scheme, instructions for applicants and the application module are available on the website of the Ministry:

6th December, 2013 is the last date for submission of applications.

Only online applications will be accepted.

Open Call! The Djerassi Program is now accepting applications for 2025 Artists in Residence program until September 12.

The Djerassi Resident Artist Program has awarded over 2500 writers, visual/media artists, composers, choreographers, filmmakers, and scientists for the past 41 years the gift of time and space with a one-month residency on our 583-acre ranch in Northern California's Santa Cruz Mountains. All at no cost to the artists. We offer four and five-week residencies throughout the year across all disciplines: Visual arts, media arts, music composition, choreography, literary arts, and science. Designed as a retreat, the residency provides an environment for personal creative work and fosters collegial interaction within a supportive community of artists. Residencies are awarded competitively, at no cost, to national and international artists.
