OVERVIEW Inviting artists and cultural practitioners in the areas of performing and visual arts, literature, design and interactive media to apply for a Studio Residency being awarded by Pro Helvetia -Swiss Arts Council. A Studio Residency for Swiss artists in South Asia ( to India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lanka) or, conversely, for artists from South Asia (from either India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lanka) in Switzerland gives artists the chance to gain a broad insight into a different cultural environment. Application Rijksakademie residency 2020 Application for the residency 2020 is possible from  1 January 2019 . Deadline is  1 February 2019 . Apply from 1 January 2019 ____________________________________________________ Who can apply? We are open to applications from artists who have a few years of professional experience, particularly in relation to finishing their education. Our average applicants have a BA/MA degree and are between 25 and 35 years old, however it is not a prerequisite to have had a formal art education. Artists who have participated in other post academic institutions in the Netherlands (Jan van Eyck or De Ateliers), cannot be considered for a Rijksakademie residency.
