Artist in Residence Program 2014/ autumn “Material and Mechanism” Application Guideline [ 1 ]  Purpose of the Program The Aomori Contemporary Art Centre (ACAC), Aomori Public University opened in December 2001 as an artistic institution centered on an ‘Artist in Residence’ (AIR) program. We invite to our facility artists who play an active part in the field of contemporary art. During the residency period, we hold an exhibition and various exchange programs to contribute to the creative life. Ila Dalmia FICA Research Grant 2014 The Foundation for Indian Contemporary Art invites applications for the Ila Dalmia FICA Research Grant 2014. Deadline: 31 May 2014 Instituted by FICA, with the support of art historian and curator Yashodhara Dalmia in the memory of her sister Ila Dalmia, the annual grant aims to support research on Indian modern and contemporary art. The grant will be for a sum of Rs 2 lakh and will focus on supporting independent research by students and scholars in India.
