Since Monday, the 2nd July 2012 is the new round of applications the Akademie Schloss Solitude. For the 14th Times are approximately 70 residency fellowships of three to twelve months in duration advertised.More than 1,000 scholars from over 100 countries took advantage of the Academy to implement their ideas and projects and develop. It provides an intensive exchange between artistic and scientific disciplines. The program art, science & business deepens the Akademie Schloss Solitude to transfer knowledge and experience between art, science and industry to bring about synergy of creativity, ingenuity, and management.Application is open to artists in the fields of architecture (design, landscape design , Urban Planning), Visual Arts () including performance art, performing arts ) (set design, playwriting, dramaturgy, musical theater, performance, directing, acting, dance, design (fashion, costume, product and furniture design, visual communication ), literature(essays, criticism, poetry, fiction, translation), Music / Sound(interpretation, sound installation, sound performance, composition), andvideo / film / new media () including video installation, documentary and fiction. In the video / film / New media are awarded from 2013 two scholarships for filmmakers (fiction or documentary). The residencies are endowed with 10,000 euros each (scholarship and project budget) and will be awarded in cooperation with the MFG Film Funding Baden-Wuerttemberg. One of the MFG and the Akademie Schloss Solitude appointed for this purpose juror selects the fellows.
