ARTISTES IN DIFFERENT CULTURAL FIELDS FOR THE YEAR 2012-13

30th June, 2013 is the last date for submission of applications.



         Ministry of Culture operates the Scheme for Award of Scholarships to Young Artistes in Different Cultural Fields to support advanced training, within India, to young artistes of outstanding promise in the fields of Indian Classical Music, Indian Classical Dances, Light Classical Music, Theatre, Visual Arts and Folk, Traditional and Indigenous Arts. Under this scheme, 400 Scholarships are awarded every year to young artistes who have already undergone a minimum of 5 years of training with their Guru/Institute.
     Online applications are invited from eligible young artistes in the age group of 18 to 25 years (as on 1st April, 2012) for the award of Scholarships for the year 2012-13.
